Sigenergy has entered into a landmark agreement with Trakia MT Ltd., a leader in Bulgaria’s solar energy sector, to supply an additional 10 MWh of cutting-edge energy storage solutions, bringing their total combined storage capacity to 20 MWh. This pivotal project will accelerate Trakia MT Ltd.'s green transition and bolster Bulgaria's national efforts toward a low-carbon economy.

Trakia MT leads Bulgaria’s renewable energy shift with projects like its solar photovoltaic plant in Malko Tarnovo. Built on a reclaimed landfill, this solar park maximizes energy efficiency while enhancing energy independence with storage. In June, Sigenergy and Trakia MT initiated the project with a strategic agreement in Munich, Germany, deploying an initial 10 MWh storage capacity.

Building on the initial phase, Trakia MT advances the project in November by adding another 10 MWh of storage, further reinforcing its commitment to renewable energy. This expansion not only strengthens Bulgaria’s energy resilience but also fosters long-term sustainability and environmental stewardship for future generations.
