Sigenergy Expands Presence in Vietnam with Launch New Products in Vietnam

Hanoi, Vietnam – April 15, 2025 – Sigenergy, a leading energy innovator, held a high-profile product launch event in Hanoi today, unveiling its flagship commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage system, SigenStack, and the 2nd generation hybrid inverter to the Vietnamese market for the first time. The event drew over 150 attendees, including top-tier photovoltaic (PV) investors, EPCs, Vietnam Clean Energy Associations (VCEA), Hanoi Supporting Industries Business Association (HANSIBA) and representatives from government bodies such as Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Fire Department, and local power utilities.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Tony Xu, Founder and CEO of Sigenergy, thanked partners and guests for their continued trust and support. “In less than three years, Sigenergy has become one of the fastest-growing energy storage companies in the history. Vietnam has been a key market on this journey — we’ve been deeply engaged here since day one. As the country accelerates its clean energy transition, we remain committed to supporting our partners and customers with smarter, safer, and more sustainable energy solutions,” said Mr. Xu.

Innovation for a Smarter, Greener Future

The newly launched SigenStack is engineered for large-scale C&I and utility projects, offering a highly modular design that supports flexible deployment. Its integrated hybrid inverter delivers power from 50 kW up to 125 kW, while the scalable battery architecture enables tailored energy storage capacities for diverse application scenarios.

Sigenergy also introduced its second-generation hybrid inverter, featuring the industry’s slimmest die-cast metal body and an advanced passive cooling system, ensuring silent operation without fans. Designed for seamless future energy storage integration, it offers a future-ready solution. Customers can easily add Sigen batteries when needed, ensuring long-term flexibility and savings.

With the introduction of these products, Sigenergy further expands its portfolio to meet the growing and diverse energy needs of customers in Vietnam.

Strategic Partnerships for Long-Term Growth

At the recent event, Sigenergy signed strategic cooperation agreements with prominent industry players, including VCEA, Green Power Engineering Consultant Company - GPECC and Sunergy Vietnam JSC. These partnerships are designed to address critical local energy challenges, and to drive innovation through renewable energy projects. By combining expertise and resources, Sigenergy and partners are advancing Vietnam’s clean energy transition, working towards a more resilient and sustainable energy future.

In addition, Sigenergy recognized its key distributors in Vietnam with a special ceremony, honoring Unisolar, Antin, Nam Viet Hung, and Elite as its distributors. These partnerships are central to Sigenergy’s strategy in meeting the rising demand for sustainable energy solutions across the region. By aligning with these trusted local distributors, Sigenergy is strengthening its market presence and ensuring long-term growth through collaborative efforts that benefit both the company and its partners.

SigenStor Gains Momentum Across Vietnam

Sigenergy introduced its groundbreaking 5-in-1 SigenStor system to the Vietnamese market in 2024, and it has quickly gained significant traction. With hundreds of project sites deployed nationwide, spanning both residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) sectors, the system has received strong endorsements from both partners and end-users alike. SigenStor’s success is not only reflected in its local adoption but also in its global popularity. According to Frost & Sullivan, Sigenergy shipped 231 MWh of stackable all-in-one DESS units between Q1 and Q3 of 2024, securing the top market share of 24.3%.

"With rising electricity costs and government policies that favor solar energy, I’ve been looking for a reliable, sustainable energy solution. Sigenergy’s intelligent system exceeded my expectations, and I’ve already installed several units," said Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quy, Vice President of the Vietnam Clean Energy Association and CEO of Nam Viet Hung.

Other guests also shared their valuable insights, including Unisolar’s success stories from their partnership journey with Sigenergy, and Viettel Construction’s hands-on experience in consulting and installing Sigenergy systems for residential projects. The Vietnam Fire Department also presented updated fire safety guidelines for PV installations during the event.
